This product was developed to provide a longer lasting lubricant for mold guide pins and knock out/knock back pins. It is applied in the same manner as beeswax (when mold is hot each pin is touched to allow wax to melt and lubricate the pin). The Slick Sticks are sized to be like a pencil, easy to handle even with gloves, and convenient to carry in a pocket for quick access. The Slick Stick is basically beeswax with ingredients added to increase the lubrication. Highly recommend for all gravity type grid casting.
