Blow-Off Dryer

Features a divided conveyor belt to allow for air to be supplied for the top and the bottoms of the batteries. Each station has plastic air knives with drying air supplied by turbo-charged blowers with a 750 cfm output. Mechanical heat as a result will produce temperatures in the 130 degree F. range which aids in drying the batteries. A Variable Frequency Drive allows the conveyor to match the operating speed of the assembly line while providing maximum drying time. The unit is comprised of plastic and grade 316 stainless steel. The optimum speed of the conveyor is 20 feet per minute. Clear access windows that lift up for removal are a feature of the ConBro unit. Allen Bradley controls to the extent possible with all components UL approved. Utility requirements to be 3 phase, 50 to 60hz, voltage to be specified by customer, air requirements are 80 psi.

Washer

For automotive type batteries. Has three operating sections; there are two wash stations and one rinse. Both wash stations have ph controllers which detect amount of acid in water level, when preset acid level is attained fresh water is added as well as dual pumps (one as backup) to ensure operation. Power brushes scrub the battery in the first wash station. Water consumption is determined by the flow rate of the fresh water rinse cycle. The fresh rinse water is moved to the second wash station after rinsing is completed, then cycled on to the first wash station. Water flow rate is dependent on the position of the nozzles during the rinse cycle. Each nozzle uses approximately 0.2 gal/min. and if all nozzles were in use the water flow rate would run 2-3 gallons/min. Nozzles can be turned off as desired and during the period when no batteries are being processed or the power drive belt is stopped the nozzles shut down automatically. This unit is constructed of non-corrosive materials, plastic and 316 grade stainless steel. Allen Bradley controls to the extent possible with all components UL approved. Utility requirements to be 3 phase, 50 to 60hz, voltage to be specified by customer.
