1. Clean water lines of residue mineral deposits; drill out and flush lines, if necessary.
2. Remove & clean all vent bars and bar cavities; do not remove any metal. (Scotch Bright works well).
3. Replace cracked and worn coolant line fittings.
4. Replace worn knockout pins and knockout springs. (lubricate pins before re-installation).
5. Check knockout bar bolts for wear; replace worn bolts.
6. Clean lead from back surfaces of mold.
7. Check K.O. pins to make certain they move freely back & forth in mold.
8. Check guide pins & bushings for more than .020" wear. (Replace as necessary).
9. Place a piece of cardboard between halves in cavity area and store in dry area until ready to use.
