The Largest Machine in the Industry Handles Soft Oversized Alloy Grids with Ease.

The safest and softest ride for grids up to 14.75″ (375mm) x 32″ (813mm) over the lugs… 18″ (457mm) x 36″ (914mm) overall mold size. Our 450/450C caster is designed to get your soft alloy, industrial size grids to the stacker without damage or distortion. After casting, our process pivots the mold to a horizontal position and ejects the grid to a receiving platform. It is then transferred through water spray to cool and strengthen prior to trimming, trimmed and lowered to a stacker plate, then transferred to the stacker rails, all at a production rate of 3-4 grids per minute. The 450/450C features state of the art controls and technology to give you complete control of the process. It’s built to the same high quality that you’ve come to expect from any Wirtz machine.
